Dr. Angie Hill
Dr. Hill grew up in Eastern Ontario and is a 2006 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. After graduating, she completed a one-year internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery at Glenwood Veterinary Clinic in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. During her time in the mountains, Dr. Hill met her husband Matt. She practiced equine medicine at Moore Equine Center in Calgary, AB and in Colorado, before returning to Ontario in 2011. Dr. Hill worked at Blue Mountain Veterinary Services, developing the new equine part of the practice, until purchasing it in 2015.
Dr. Hill’s professional interests include lameness and sports medicine, ultrasound and practice management. Outside of work, she can be found spending time with her family, which includes keeping up with her boys Nathan and Jamie, husband Matt and the household pets. She enjoys riding and eventing her horse, Watson, hiking with her dog Max and most other outdoor adventures. Dr. Hill is thrilled to realize her dream of creating a dedicated equine practice within Grey County!

Dr. Lisa Costa
Although from the city, Dr. Lisa Costa spent most of her time growing up in the country side of Waterloo county. After a few years of children’s lessons, she soon acquired her first horse, an off-track standardbred named Trooper. Her humbling adventures with Trooper led her to training and showing in many different disciplines from hunter/jumper and dressage to barrel racing and trail riding, fostering in her a love for all horse sports. Lisa then completed her undergraduate and veterinary degrees at the University of Guelph. After graduating and working a year in an equine ambulatory practice, Lisa moved to Alberta and completed a 1-year rotating internship at Moore Equine Veterinary Centre in Calgary. She gained experience in all specialties in equine veterinary medicine, developing special interests in Internal Medicine and Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. Lisa moved back to Ontario to join GBE in 2022, bringing along a souvenir from the west, her Quarter Horse Finley.
When Lisa is not working, you might catch her downhill skiing, back country canoe camping, going on adventures with her dog Stuart, herding her cats Lulu and Lenny, or cozying up with a good read. As for riding, Lisa and Finley are enjoying a multi-disciplined career, learning something new everyday while enjoying time in the saddle.

Andrea Corvari
Born and raised in the Collingwood region, Andrea is a very familiar face in the Ontario sport horse community and you may have seen her in many barns in the area, clipping, breaking or showing young horses. Andrea joined our team in July 2019 as a veterinary assistant. Andrea has been in the saddle since she was 8 years old, showing in various parts of the hunter/jumper circuit.
In addition to her years of horse experience, she obtained a BA in Psychology from Laurentian University in 2018. She runs her small breeding program "‘Always Hunters’ out of the same building our clinic is set in. She is on the provincial advisory board for the Canadian Sport Horse Association.

DANA BISSON
Dana joined team GBEVS in December 2021. She very quickly fell in love with all things equine while growing up riding her moms horse. Her love for horses encouraged her to study at TriOS College (former D'Arcy Lane Institute) for Equine Massage Therapy, a 2 year, 2200 hour practice oriented program. Dana has recently furthered her education and has become a Certified PEMF Practitioner through Magnawave. Dana has always been passionate for and continually has a goal of bettering their well-being!
Outside of work, Dana enjoys riding her horse, walking her dogs & spending time with her family.

LAUREN PARR
Lauren grew up in London, UK and spent her childhood and teenage years seeking out opportunities to be with horses whenever possible. Since moving to Canada in 2009 she has worked in a few, mostly animal related fields and joined GBEVS in 2023.
When not working she can be found at the barn with her horses Remie and Posie, and sharing a love of all things outdoors with her husband and daughter.

Cora Frisby
Cora has been a part of the equine industry for the past twenty years, working and managing large stables for most of her adult life. Aside from horses, Cora is a certified elementary school teacher.

Katrina Ardiel
Katrina joined our team in 2024 as part of our office management team.
Katrina and her husband, Giles, own, raise and train the rare breed of Akahl Teke horses on their farm in Rocklyn, Ontario. They are key in many of our clinic’s breeding endeavours as they also offer stallion collection services.
